Bruce Springsteen- Death To My Hometown

Wrecking Ball is not just a record for fans like me who will love everything the boss touches. its fucking ANGRY, it explores genres the boss has yet to, its not dated(unlike some of his other new albums) and the imagery and comparisons to his older and more optimistic songs/albums is fucking awesome. this song seems to be a sequel to My Hometown off of darkness. its the same town, but no longer is there a fear everything is going away, its just fucking gone and there is no coming back. take a look at the cover, the writing is a punk rock mess similar to the new Against Me! 7”(and a bunch of others i cant name right now), its the same guitar from the front of Born To Run, but Clarence is gone, and there is no shoulder to lean on. its the first album cover where Bruce is sitting down, he’s tired, he’s old, and he’s contemplative, looking towards the ground. i think this album is kind of a masterpiece, i realy can’t get enough, and im really stoned so i thought i’d talk about how fucking cool this record is for a minute.
